My classic matcha latte recipe that I drink almost every morning! Exactly how I make it! Only 4 ingredients and so creamy and frothy!
Here it is, y’all, my matcha latte recipe EXACTLY the way I make it! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know I LOVE matcha. I don’t drink coffee due to how it affects my anxiety (you can read more about that here), but I do fine with the natural caffeine in matcha/green tea.

Matcha Latte Ingredients
Other than matcha powder, the only other ingredients you need are nut milk (you can make your own using an Ellie’s Nut Milk Bag – use code “natalieeng” for 10% off), hemp seeds, and a medjool date (pitted). To make this recipe, I put all of the ingredients in the saucepan to heat up rather than just adding them to the blender so the dates and hemp seeds can soften in the heat. If you want to make this iced, I would recommend not using the hemp seeds and blending everything else like normal, then pouring over ice.
I use the small blender attachment on my Ninja to blend my latte, but you can use any size. You can also use a milk frother to achieve a good latte frothiness, but it will not blend the dates or hemp seeds. If you are using a milk frother, just froth the heated nut milk and matcha and use a liquid sweetener (will not taste the exact same)!

Matcha Latte Recipe
- Blender (any size)
- 8 oz. Nut Milk I like coconut milk best!
- 1 tbsp. Matcha Powder (see article for a link to the kind I use)
- 1 Medjool Date pitted
- 1 tbsp. Hemp Seeds
- In a medium saucepan, heat nut milk on medium high heat. Add in the other ingredients and stir until simmering.
- Remove from heat and pour into a blender. Blend for 30-45 seconds.
- Sip in bliss.
