Houston, TX is known as one of the best food scenes. But let’s be real, not necessarily for it’s healthy food scene. While indulging in the wide-range of cultures, flavors, and fusions here is an amazing experience, sometimes (or most times if you’re like me), you just want some good greens. It can be hard to find healthy restaurants amid the hundreds when that’s what you’re looking for, so I created this Healthy Houston Restaurants Guide to split up the best of gluten-free, vegan, goodness by popular areas.
In this guide you can find smoothies, salads, and even vegan desserts. All of the restaurants have different healthy options and multiple are in more than one area. Houston may not be as “hippie-friendly” as Austin (see my Austin restaurant guide), but it’s got some incredible healthy options. If you’re in the Houston area, be sure to check these out!
