My Go-To Everyday Green Smoothie

One of my favorite parts of my morning is my morning everyday green smoothie! I usually have this around 10 AM for breakfast after a delicious matcha latte. I love this smoothie because it’s easy to make (5 minutes!) and tastes so fresh, plus the color is GORGEOUS. If you’re looking for a good daily smoothie recipe, look no further!

I use a plant-based vanilla protein to add extra flavor and protein (duh) to my smoothie. This is optional! Protein is best digested without enzymes from fruits, which is why banana is the only fruit I use in my smoothie (but when I want it to be more fruit heavy, I sub the protein for frozen mangoes or strawberries!).

Optional Add-Ins

I usually use my own almond milk in my smoothies, which I make with my Ellie’s Nut Milk Bag (the BEST bag for making homemade nut milks – use code “natalieeng” for 10% off, but any brand of almond or another nut milk works too!

You’ll also notice a couple of optional ingredients in the recipe, you don’t need them to make a delicious smoothie, but I love adding in protein (from the brand above), collagen for healthy hair/skin/nails (I use Vital Proteins), and maca powder (for an extra energy boost – shop here)!

Everyday green smoothie, the healthiest green smoothie with a ton of benefits and super ingredients. Dairy-free, vegan, and naturally sweetened.

Course Breakfast
Cuisine healthy, vegan
Calories 200 kcal


  • Blender (any size)



  • 8 oz. Nut Milk I use almond milk (homemade, but any store brand works too!)
  • 1 Banana Frozen
  • 1 handful Kale or Spinach Frozen
  • 1 Medjool Date Pitted
  • 2 tsp. Spirulina I use Hawaiian Spirulina
  • 1 handful Ice Cubes

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 scoop Nuzest Vanilla Protein See blog post for 15% off!
  • 1 scoop Collagen I use Vital Proteins
  • 1 tbsp. Maca Powder See blog post for link



  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend 30-45 seconds (the longer, the smoother)


Be sure to use frozen ingredients (i.e. frozen banana rather than fresh) for a thicker consistency.
